A straight swap
This is not a discount scheme and it is not a giveaway. We give you something worth filming, you give us something worth posting. Both sides agree what that looks like before anything is booked, so nobody is guessing on the night.
We are open to creators of any size. A tight local following in Preston, Lancashire and the North West is worth more to us than a big number somewhere else, and one well shot Reel beats ten rushed stories.

Bottomless Brunch
A table at The Tipsy Chef brunch. Street food, free flowing drinks and two hours of the best light in the building.

Send a pitch
Your links, who watches you, which offer you want and a couple of dates that suit.

We confirm what you get and what you post, in writing. If it is a no, we will say so quickly.

Turn up on the agreed date. The team will know you are coming and what you are there to shoot.

That is the usual shape of it. Exact deliverables are agreed with you before the date is confirmed.

The basics
The short version: nothing is confirmed until we confirm it, label anything you were hosted for, and we get to use what you post. The rest is here so there are no surprises.
Nothing is booked until we say so
A collaboration is only confirmed once we have put it in writing with a date and what is included. Anything before that is a conversation.
Subject to availability
We rarely host collaborations on our busiest dates or ticketed events unless it is agreed up front, and we may need to move a date if the venue is booked out.
Label it properly
Anything you were hosted for must be marked #ad or #gifted. UK advertising rules require it and we will ask you to correct anything that is not labelled.
Post inside the window
Unless we agree otherwise, content goes live within 72 hours of your visit. Tell us in advance if you need longer.
Tag us
Tag Baluga Bar & Club and add the venue location so the content is findable by people who might come in.
We reuse what you post
By taking part you give us permission to repost and use your content on Baluga channels and in our own marketing, with credit. If you need limits on that, tell us before the date.
Raw files where agreed
Where sharing originals is part of the swap, send the unwatermarked files across within the same window as the posts.
Filming in the venue
Please do not film guests or our team without asking them first. No filming in the toilets or anywhere back of house, and follow our team if they ask you to stop.
Over 18s only
We are a licensed venue and operate Challenge 25, so bring valid ID. Content must not encourage irresponsible drinking.
Dress code applies
The same code applies to collaborations as to any other night. Have a read of our dress code and house rules before you plan the outfit.
Numbers as agreed
Bring the number of guests we agreed. Extra guests, extra drinks and anything outside the package are paid for on the night at the usual price.
Give us notice
If you need to cancel or move, let us know at least 48 hours ahead. Repeat no shows will end the arrangement.
Either side can walk away
We can decline or end a collaboration at any point, and so can you. If the content does not arrive, we will not host you again.
This is not a paid deal
Unless we have separately agreed a fee in writing, this is hospitality in exchange for content and no money changes hands either way.
