We are committed to creating a safe, enjoyable and welcoming environment for all our guests. To help maintain the high standards of our venue, we kindly ask all guests to adhere to the following dress code and house rules:
Dress Code
Entry is at the discretion of our door team. We expect guests to be dressed smartly, cleanly, and appropriately for a premium venue. These rules apply at all times, including private events, bottomless brunch sittings, table bookings and VIP.
While many dress code guidelines are aimed at menswear, we kindly ask that women also dress in a smart and presentable manner. Sportswear should be avoided. High heels are not required, but overly casual footwear such as sliders or flip flops are not permitted.
Not Allowed
- Sportswear of any kind
- Gym wear such as vests and gym shirts, gym shorts
- Gym trainers – smart trainers are acceptable
- Tracksuit-style trousers
- Combat trousers with multiple pockets on the leg
- Workwear, including work boots and high-visibility clothing
- Cross-body bags worn by men (also known as shoulder pouches or utility bags)
- Baseball caps
- Trainers with a bubble sole
- Nike TN footwear or similar athletic footwear styles
- Football shirts and identifying team colours
Risky – Entry Likely to Be Refused Unless Very Smart
- Shorts – smart shorts, such as chino shorts are acceptable
- Hoodies
- Gilets
- Bodywarmers
- Smart combats
- Smart / Formal Hats – allowed under some circumstances
- Large brands and motifs – allowed under some circumstances
- Inappropriate and/or offensive slogans
House Rules
- All guests must behave respectfully at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.
- Please follow any guidance or instructions given by our door and venue team. Failure to do so may result in refusal of entry or removal from the premises.
- Any guest causing issues for others or staff will be refused entry or asked to leave. Simply put: don’t be disrespectful.
- We operate a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. Anyone found in possession or under the influence will be refused entry or removed from the premises immediately.
- Guests who appear excessively intoxicated will be refused entry or asked to leave. We reserve the right to make this decision at the discretion of our team.
- We operate a strict 25+ ID policy. Only a valid UK driving licence or UK passport will be accepted as proof of age. Photos, scans, or copies will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- We operate high-definition CCTV and audio recording throughout the premises and our external areas for the purposes of public safety and crime prevention. Facial recognition technology is in use and may be shared with law enforcement and affiliated venues to help identify individuals who are barred or otherwise not permitted entry.
- Guests are expected to wear clean, tidy clothing and make a reasonable effort in their appearance.
Cloakroom
Items are left entirely at the owner’s risk, regardless of dress code enforcement. We will make every effort to take care of all items stored and to return items safely and promptly.
The operator of the cloakroom is not liable for damages to the items stored. If you lose the receipt Baluga Bar & Club will endeavor after closing or the following day find the item.
Items left behind after the venue is closed will be held for a maximum of 7 days. After this time, items are either disposed of, or if appropriate, donated to local charities.
